The hacking group named ‘Notorious’ has shared a guide on Twitter, telling how to hack Donald Trump’s outdated Samsung S3 Android smartphone. Trump’s phone runs Android 4.4 which is too old and it easy for them to hack using a technique like “Stagefright”.
Not only hackers mentioned this issue but also the US security researchers. They have pointed out this loophole in the past. You already heard about the recent US presidential elections were the email leaks of Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager John Podesta, which signaled the weak cyber security measures. After the Clinton, now the hackers are targeting the US president Donald Trump.
The notorious hacking group shared a tweet that “Trump refuses to use another smartphone other than the Galaxy S3. How you could hack and get access to his phone:” It is an easy target for the anonymous groups to hack Donald Trumps’s old phone.

Donald Trump refuses to use another smartphone other than the Galaxy S3.
A Galaxy S3 does not meet the security requirements of the average teenager, let alone the purported leader of the free world. The best available Android OS on this phone (4.4) is a woefully out-of-date and unsupported. The S4, running 5.0.1, is only marginally better. WIthout exaggerating, hacking a Galaxy S3 or S4 is the type of project I would assign as homework for my advanced undergraduate classes. It’d be as simple as downloading a suitable exploit – depending on the version, Stagefright will do – and then entice Trump to clicking on a link. Alternatively, one could advertise malware on Breitbart and just wait for Trump to visit.
The Anonymous clearly mentioned that the Galaxy S3 doesn’t meet the security requirements and can easily hack the Trump’s phone using “Stagefright” technique. To hack his phone, Anonymous group need to make him download a crafted MMS containing a .MP4 file as reported by Fossbytes.
Trump using his Samsung smartphone S3 even after taking charges as US president. Many media reports have also noted that the standard Galaxy S3 received its last security update about 2 years ago. Thus, as Anonymous points out, it might be vulnerable to Stagefright.
