Cyber Attack on Brussels Airport after ISIS Bombing – US Kid Admits Commiting

The 14-year-old US teen from Pittsburgh hacked Brussels Airport‘s computer (Zaventem) an hour after ISIS suicide bombing attack, killed 32 people on 22 March 2016. Belgian investigators tracked the US teen behind this hacking attack and called the FBI to investigate this case regarding a connection with ISIS terror group. Fortunately, he is not a supporter of ISIS. Although, he will be punished for this cyber attack.

FBI investigated deep in the incident to get more evidence. Furthermore, FBI went to a house search in Pittsburgh for enquiring the teen. He admits that he had hacked the systems in Brussels airport after the ISIS caused the suicide bomb attack.

According to the report, it was clearly mentioned by the investigators that this cyber attack was not terrorist motives.

The source also said that he is not radicalized and he told himself it was the right time’ to carry out the cyber attack.

Three suicide bombers already attacked Zaventem Airport and the Brussels metro station. Now it is been on high alert after this incident March 2016.

On November 13, 2015, 130 people killed in Paris attack which was claimed by ISIS. So, the FBI agency related this case with the previous attack.

Taking down the airport’s website were unsuccessful, so he hacked Brussels airport computer on March 22-23 by a US minor, said, investigator.

From the first analyses of the seized hardware, it is found that this cyber attack was not encouraged by a terrorist.
